Awarding last year’s success (2013) in our village square.

Saturday, August 23 was held in the village square the awarding of last year's success in universities and colleges. Our village wishes to young academic people, warm congratulations and best wishes for successful studies and a brilliant career.

6th Historic Rally, Nafplio – Gortynia 2014

Elliniko's square was filled today (29/6/2014) with antique cars, that participated at the "6th Nafplio - Gortynia, Historic Rally, 2014". Racing cars that participated at the "Route 66 Rally, London to Jerusalem,2014", with Athens being one of the intermediate stops , also showed up. To our great surprise, all of the cars passed through our village, almost at the same time! Enjoy the pictures:

Placing sings with a flashing hazard on the main entrances of our village

Today, Wednesday, April 30,2014, two warning signs were placed at the main entrance of our village, in order to safeguard the safety of our pedestrians. More specifically, the signs were placed just before the start of the residential area and are addressed to incoming drivers, in order to reduce their passing speed, drawing their attention for pedestrians. The signs are accompanied by an autonomous warning light system, consisting of a solar panel and a battery.
